Hi I like your poem because you wrote it from your heart and I respect your feelings. There is no such things as right or wrong poems, Your poetic style is different. You said that you are not a poet, one does not have to be a poet to write about our deepest desires and the things that makes us happy or sad. Your poem makes sense to me and the form and the vision is very clear and understandable. If you love poetry keep working on it.
